A Poem for Breast Cancer

Racing for life, beating cancer together, walk, jog and run, whatever the weather.

Racing with hope - mums, daughters and grans, inspiring courage, through love’s outstretched hands.

Racing for health – past the pain barrier, one goal and one aim, to make people happier.

Racing with love, determined to win, having fun for the care of friends and kin.

Racing for life – sprinting on to the finish, to get the ‘all-clear’ that everyone wishes.

I, my two daughters (Tracey & Deborah) and now my granddaughter Paige run the ‘Race for Life’ (5K) each year at Heaton Park, Manchester. It keeps us all fit as well as promoting the cause. The photos below are from 2008 & 2009 runs respectively

Some more "Race for Life" run photos. These two are from 2009 & 2010
