National Mentoring Month – 1st – 31st January

Taking place in January, National Mentoring Month is a yearly event, to highlight the impact and effect of mentoring. A time to appreciate and celebrate the contributions and hard work of mentors, while encouraging individuals to become mentors themselves.

Launched in 2002, MENTOR and the Harvard T.H. School of Public Health created National Mentoring Month to inspire and encourage mentorship for young people.

In education, it is essential that children have great role models and mentors who can guide, assist, and encourage them. Written from three decades of first-hand knowledge and experience as a Teacher, Deputy Head and SEND Support Service Manager, my latest range of educational Guide Books can help parents and mentors support children’s education and encourage them to grow and build their confidence.

Available in both printed and e-book formats, there are five books in this series, covering every educational stage from Early Years to KS3, as well as a publication dedicated purely to SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) learning. Each one is presented in plain, no-frills English with accompanying illustrations that support and broaden the national curriculum.  Just the thing to help you help them.
