World Mental Health Day 2024 is celebrated today!

World Mental Health Day 2024 is celebrated today and the theme this year is workplace mental health. We all know that talking with our colleagues, friends and family is important for mental health and wellbeing.
People with mental health issues can feel overwhelmed and hopeless, so it’s important to be aware ond ensure support is available.
Children can find the school setting and education very stressful (more so during this period of exams and tests). So we need to help them in every way possible.
Written from over thirty years experience as a teacher, deputy head and SEND Manager, my series of Guide Books for Parents can help you help them navigate their way through the all-important Key Stages. Each book is presented in plain and simple English, with accompanying illustrations that set out and simplify the national curriculum, giving you a clear window on what they’re learning in class. @sylviaedwardsauthor
There’s a book covering at each Key Stage – from 1 to 3 – as well as Early Years and Sen (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), helping you help your child get the best possible education… and achieve their maximum potential.
